It has been a while since I last posted. Life has a way of taking up your free time. The hubs and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary at the end of September. We were in NYC for a week! My first time and it was amazing!!!!! Between the traveling and my job, I have neglected by blog. Not to fear, I am back and at it.
I hope every one had a great Thanksgiving with their family and friends. Anyone else have to decide which family to go to.. yours or the in-laws? We normally trade off between his and mine. This year was a little bit harder. Last year we went to mine and this year we went to mine again. Sometimes you have to weigh out the options. His family lives about an hour to an hour an a half away. We decided to do mine this year because I had a cousin that was in town from his first year of college. I am fortunate that my in-laws are so understanding. But, next year, we will be with them. Alway’s make sure to split up your time and holidays fairly.
Anyone cook? Everyone that follows me on here knows that I LOVE to cook…. but when it comes to Thanksgiving, I have no problem letting someone else do the cooking. I am sure my time will come when I have to be the one to do it, but honestly cooking a turkey scares me to death! So many things can go wrong. So for now, I will not stress myself out with the hours of cooking and cleaning. Nooo thank you! I am thankful for my amazing aunt who took over the torch from my grandma and will now be cooking Thanksgiving dinner.
Well my fellow readers, I just wanted to pop in and say that I am thankful for all of those who read, follow, and even send me emails. I will be posting more this week.
I hope everyone had a great weekend and I hope you all have an amazing week!!
