Yummy Healthy Chili

Total Time: 7.5 Hours

Need:

1 lb ground beef or turkey

1 can of drained whole black beans & 1 can of drained kidney beans (do not drain)

1 can of plain tomato sauceIMG_5509

IMG_55122 large(chopped) Anaheim peppers (you can use any kind of peppers, I just prefer these ones for the spice, sometimes I use bell peppers (red, yellow, and orange) )

5 white chopped mushrooms

1 can of diced tomatoes

2 tbsp Chili Powder     ½ tsp Cummin

½ tsp Cayan Pepper,

2 tbspOnion Powder, 1 tbsp Oregano 1 tbsp PepperIMG_5514

½ cup of water

Step 1 ♥

  1. Cook meat in a separate pan
  2. Add the meat along with 1 can of tomato sauce, pepper, and the oregano to the crock pot/ slow cooker and cook on high for 1 hour.IMG_5507

STEP 2 ♥

Add all the other ingredients to the crock pot/slow cooker and cook on low for 6 hours.  Stirring every hour and a half or so and you may season to taste while it is cooking.

Garnish with some shredded cheese and a little sour cream and ENJOY ♥
